I work 12 hours weekly, my fiance is an ex-con and has been fighting hard to get a job, but no such luck. He is also attending drug court and has been clean for 7 months. We are getting evicted tomorrow and have no place to go. It is extremely cold out there, but most landlords don't care about anything, but their money. Luckily, a church helped with our electric, but cannot pay rent. We are struggling with even being able to keep food.

My name is Tina. I am a thirty year old married mother of two boys ages 14 and 10 from Lancaster, Ohio. My children have alot of medical problems that prevents me from being able to keep a job. I have filed for social security disability for my oldest son but was denied, which I am appealing but they say it could take another 24 months for a decision. My husband is working only part-time as a janitor and trying to pursue his life long dream as an amazing artist which we are trying to get his name out. Which would also be a blessing if anyone have any suggestions on how we can do that also. We are struggling day to day to get by, our bills are months and months behind, our rent is about due again and we are not able to pay the full amount and have a huge chance we may get evicted. I lost my father on October 8, 2008. He was my angel, my strength, and my everything. He was young and had a long life ahead of him but a tumor of the brain took him from us. My Grandmother passed away only six months later. My mother is losing her battle to bilateral breast cancer and bone cancer. She is unable to help herself, so she wouldnt be able to help us. I have nobody left that can help me, Im desperate, scared, depressed, and losing faith. I dont know where to turn or what to do. I need a miracle, and I need it fast before we are homeless. A brief description about myself, and a financial situation that has me left me desperately seeking the aid of others. 

I am a 38 year old disabled & unemployed male from the S.W. My wife, who has worked extremely hard at providing for the two of us, has become increasingly stressed over the fact that two months ago her employer began cutting her hours, and that she is the only one of us that can work to pay these financial obligations.

For some time now we have tried to manage this situation by asking for extensions and bill payment plans from each of the places where we owe money, but, although, this may have helped temporarily we are now to the point that we have nothing left to live off and we still haven't the needed funds.

Although, I cannot honestly say that we are in the midst of a forcluser or that we are about to lose our car, but I can honestly say that we need help. We are trying to figure out how we are going to make it this month since the majority of my wife's money will go to pay on our mortgage and car payment, but this has left us with little money to buy food and pay on other expenses, such as food, electricity, water, doctor visits & medicines.

If you feel in your heart that you can help us in any way possible, please do. I cannot convey enough the sincere amount of gratitude and apprectiation to any of those who would choose to help us in our time of need.      I'm not very good with digital photography so I don't have a picture.  I'll get my daughter to help me insert one later.  I have not been steadily employed since 2005 and we have really been struggling financially since then. My husband's main job of 20 years is steady, but we had just bought a house when my work dropped drastically. I earned a B.S. degree in secondary chemistry education in 2001 and had hoped to start a second career after being laid off from my job of 15 years as an engineering/process technician.  I was able to work as a teacher for 2 years with a special certificate but I didn't pass my Praxis II and my certificate expired.  I've worked as a substitute since and have not been able to find another job, so I haven't had the money to retake the test and get certified.  I substitute "as needed" and I have not been getting very much work.  My husband's income alone is not enough. He is a licensed, ordained,  minister and occasionally he is asked to preach and is given a donation. This has helped but not enough. Now we're behind on our house payments.  We need some financial assistance to catch our mortgage up and  help me pay for study materials and the test fee so I can get my teaching certificate.  I have not been holding out for a teaching job, I've been applying for every available job that I'm qualified for, but I have not gotten any offers. I know I could find work as a science teacher if I had my certificate.   We need help fast.

I am a single mother of a 12y/o son. I was in a near fatal car accident on 3/10/2005 when someone ran a stop sign which crushed my pelvis & fractured my C2-C3 vertebrae (hangman's fracture) which resulted in numerous surgeries over 1 month hospitalization & left me permanently disabled. I am now trying to live on $979 per month that I receive from Social security that took 2yrs to receive. My mortgage alone is $849 per month therefore I am desperately in need of any assistance anyone could offer as I have exhausted all of my savings & needless to say as a result of filing bankruptcy to relieve my million+ $ obligation to pay medical bills not covered by the Florida NO FAULT INSURANCE I have no resources left to fall back on & fear the imminent loss of my home & everything I worked very hard to provide for myself & my child. If anyone can offer any assistance I would sincerely appreciate your kindness!

Gosh I hate asking for help ... but here goes. I got into trouble when my husband got sent to jail. Divorced him. Lost the house with only one income. First husband sued for custody of three kids and through it all I just keep getting farther and farther behind. And once you get behind on bills it's really tough to get caught up. I earn a decent living but I just can't get caught up. I work a second freelance job to help but it's not enough. Raising three kids. I don't have expensive tastes, don't drink, smoke or do drugs. Just can't get a caught up. I'm three months behind on car payments and can't afford to lose my wheels or I can't get to work. If I wasn't living this, it would sound like a sob story somebody dreamed up. Can anyone help?

If you happen to be one of those lucky people on this earth that is able to buy excessively anything you want, travel aimlessly and have everything in life you ever wanted, please take a moment and think of me and my 2 children who currently have no place to live and barely anything to eat.  I am currently "staying" with a verbally abusive man who amazingly threatens to kick us out daily, because we had nowhere else to go.  I am a single parent of 2 , one child is disabled with Down's Syndrome.  Picture this.... Have you ever had to write checks to those check cashing places that give you your whole paycheck in advance but charge a $30 fee every 2 weeks? Well I currently have 3 of them out, to include everything I had of value in the pawn shop getting ready to lose it.  Have you had your house and car repossessed lately? Do you have a son who is a Senior who you could not buy a yearbook or class ring for or get his Senior Pictures made? Do you have an old dying dog who needs medical attention who you cannot even get his yearly shots? Have you ever lived on peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, chicken leg quarters and ground turkey meat? Do you have an abcessed tooth that you cannot even afford the copayment your insurance requires to get it fixed? Have you ever lived without utilities?  Have you ever had to write a check before payday hoping it wouldn't bounce, just so you'd have enough gas to get to work?  Or better yet, have you ever "tried" to file with Juvenile Court to receive child support "without an attorney?" If not, then you might need to try a reality better than the reality show "A Simple Life" because there are some of us out there who are not as fortunate. Any financial assistance would be greatly appreciated and I can guarantee you this is definately not fraud because I have every piece of information needed to back up my situation. As you can probably tell from my post I am very angry mostly at their fathers. I was not a whore making babies. I was actually married to these guys who contributed to bringing them into this planet.
